  • What makes Sommerová Fitness different?
My workouts are unique based on my experience as a professional athlete as well as exercise science student at Charles University. With me, you have the opportunity to experience first hand the type of science-backed programming that professional athletes use. With that in mind, my training strategy is based on the following pillars: injury prevention, constant progress, and pushing your body to new limits in search of performance. I have the ability to train any experience level ranging from complete beginner to serious athletes. In addition, the programs are catered to any goal such as increasing muscle mass, improving sport performance, or weight loss.
  • Do I need to have experience working out? Do I need to be an athlete?
Absolutely not. I work with both beginners as well as advanced athletes. The only thing that is important is that you are motivated and excited to train.
  • Do you have a minimum age?
    My minimum age is 15.
  • What should I bring to the gym with me?
Appropriate workout clothes, a sturdy pair of shoes, and some water. It is also best to have a snack 1-2 hours before you workout.
  • How often should I train?
The frequency is entirely up to you however once a week is the minimum that I recommend.
  • What is the difference between a training plan and a training session?
A training plan is independently followed whereas a training session is performed under my guidance.
  • How does online coaching work?
Online coaching takes place at your desired frequency via an online platform such as Facebook Messenger, Facetime, or Zoom. The very first session begins with an interview where we discuss your goals, experience level, training frequency, sports that you like, equipment available etc. This is then followed by some diagnostic tests to assess basic movement patterns, muscular imbalances, and limitations. Based on this information I then create a program. The actual workouts after the entry diagnostics begins with a warm up (mobility and activation) followed by the main body of exercise. You can expect the session to be about an hour long unless otherwise agreed upon a different duration.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
If less than a 24-hour notice is given, a 100% cancellation fee is charged.
